What we carry
Departments
Everything below is in the store today, the meat counter and bakery baked fresh in-house, produce restocked through the week, and the everyday grocery, dairy, and frozen aisles that round out a real one-stop trip.

Meat & Deli
Our full-service meat counter is cut fresh every day by the same people who've been doing it for years. Ask what's good this week and we'll tell you straight, no scripts, no upsells. Beyond the case, we run custom cut orders and our popular Butcher's Bundles so stocking up doesn't mean a special trip to a big-box store. The deli side rounds it out with sliced meats and cheeses cut to order for sandwiches, platters or whatever you're making tonight.

Produce
We restock the produce section throughout the week instead of once and hoping it holds. Seasonally, we carry local produce as it comes available. We keep an eye on what's in season and price it accordingly, from summer corn and berries to the root vegetables that carry us through a Maine winter. It's a smaller selection than a supermarket chain, chosen on purpose, less picked-over, less time sitting in the case.
Ripe for the Picking

Bakery
Most items in the bakery section are baked in-house, starting early enough that the smell hits you at the door most mornings including breads, rolls and pastries. This isn't a case restocked from a delivery truck. Get here early as the good stuff doesn't sit around long.
Bread Winners

Grocery
The grocery aisles cover the everyday staples; pantry basics, snacks, cleaning supplies, the stuff you run out of on a Tuesday. We carry many brands, from name brand to store-brand groceries, local items and specialty items. If you're looking for a hard to get item, talk with Matt and he'll do his best to find it. Friends and Family Market is built to be a real one-stop, not just a convenience-store shelf of chips and soda.
Aisle Favorites

Beer, Wine & Liquor
We keep a real selection of beer, wine, and liquor, more than you'd expect from a small-town market. It's one more reason this is a genuine one-stop: pick up dinner, drinks and everything in between without a second stop across town.
Top Shelf

Dairy
The dairy case covers the staples you don't want to run out of, milk, eggs, butter, cheese and yogurt. It's stocked and rotated often. Simple, reliable, and usually the last stop before the register.
Grade A Brands

Frozen
A full frozen aisle covers the weeknight staples, vegetables, pizza, frozen dinners, chicken, burgers, ice cream and the meals that save you on a night you don't feel like cooking. It's also where a lot of customers stock up before a storm or a long weekend.
Looking to fill your freezer? Have a look at our Butcher's Bundles.
Ice Cold Classics

Gas
Fuel up right at the pump out front. No separate stop, no separate line. It's a small thing, but it's one more reason locals treat this as a true one-stop: groceries, the meat counter, the bakery, and a full tank, all in the same visit.
